The 2024/2025 National Service Scheme (NSS) batch will transition from using Ezwich to Ghana Pay for receiving their monthly allowances. This change is a collaborative effort between the National Service Secretariat and the Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement System Limited. NSS personnel serving in private institutions are exempt from this requirement, as private companies can continue using various payment methods such as mobile money (MoMo), counter-cheque, bank account transfers, physical cash, or any other preferred medium.

What Is Ghana Pay? GhanaPay is a mobile money service offered by universal banks, rural banks, and savings and loans companies, catering to both individuals and businesses. While it operates like any other mobile money service, it also includes additional banking features designed to enhance financial freedom. Anyone with access to a mobile phone can register for a GhanaPay Wallet, regardless of whether they have a bank account.
